Bachelor in Sales Engineering

Sales Engineering at Aalen University is a bachelor's programme that combines technical knowledge with sales, economics, and digital skills, oriented toward international business-to-business sales of technically sophisticated products and services. The curriculum covers mathematics, physics, materials science, computer science, engineering mechanics, B2B marketing, business administration, personal selling, and management, with particular attention to how digital trends and AI are changing purchasing behaviour and sales processes. The programme runs over 7 semesters and is available for entry in both winter and summer semesters. The fifth semester is a practical semester in which students complete internships in international industrial companies, working independently on projects either in Germany or abroad. In the sixth and seventh semesters, students deepen their knowledge in sales, marketing, and technology, with advanced modules in negotiation coaching, digital sales, customer relationship management, and AI in B2B sales. The seventh semester also includes a Bachelor's thesis carried out in cooperation with industry. Elective courses allow further specialisation in areas such as supply chain management, production, procurement, or logistics. Practical work in the Sales and Purchasing Laboratory, industry projects, and excursions — including one to Silicon Valley — are built into the programme. Annual tuition fees are 3,000 EUR.
