Bachelor in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse (Bachelor's)

South Florida State College's Highlands Campus is located in Avon Park and includes the Testing Center in Building B. The college also supports Panther athletics and houses the Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts and the Museum of Florida Art and Culture. These facilities give students access to academic testing, sports, performances, and cultural programming alongside their studies. Academic options cover technical workforce training, two-year college transfer programs, and four-year baccalaureate programs. Available areas include business, supervision and management, auto collision technology, advanced manufacturing and production technology, HVAC/R, professional culinary arts and hospitality, law enforcement, corrections, emergency medical services, and nursing. The college also offers an Honors Program, adult basic education, high school completion through the GED, corporate training, and leisure and recreational offerings. Nursing applicants should be prepared for program-specific requirements: the Practical Nursing, Generic Registered Nursing, and LPN or Paramedic to RN programs use the ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills entrance exam. The exam must be taken in person at the SFSC Testing Center to be valid for the nursing program, and a passport is accepted as photo identification.
