This is a state-sponsored, nationally accredited Physician Assistant Program. It is the only community college in the US to confer its own master's degree. The program prepares physician assistants to practice professional, empathetic, inclusive, team-based medicine with a focus on primary care.

The Master's curriculum requires 120 credits upon graduation.

Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree and complete all prerequisite courses with a grade of 'C' or higher from US institutions by September 1, 2026. A cumulative prerequisite GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is required. The CASPA application cycle for 2026 is open April 30 - September 1, 2026, with a $100 non-refundable fee due September 15, 2026.

The programme totals about 120 credit hours. 27-month program located at the Arvada Campus. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes.

Study options are designed to fit different schedules. Courses are available at campuses in Lakewood and Arvada, as well as online, with traditional, online, and hybrid formats. The college offers 265 online courses and provides scheduling choices that can allow students to complete coursework over a more flexible time frame. Four bachelor's programs and one master's-level program are also available.

Students learn from faculty whose primary responsibility is teaching and who bring real-world experience to the classroom. Average class size is less than 20, allowing for direct contact with instructors. Support is available throughout the process of becoming a student and adjusting to college. The college community includes students and faculty from 38 nationalities. Students studying STEM fields may qualify for free academic support through the TRIO SSS STEM program, and financial aid options are available to help pay tuition.
