Master in Odontoiatria Legale e Forense

This master offers a 1.500-hour curriculum over 12 months, with 10 meetings, and focuses on the legal and forensic aspects of dentistry, specifically in the context of civil and penal law, and professional responsibility. The program will be taught in Italian, and students will gain practical experience through a compulsory 75% attendance rate, with the majority of lessons taking place at the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano, supplemented by online webinars and fieldwork in legal and odontological settings. It culminates in a final dissertation.

Enrollment is limited to 20 students, with a minimum of 8 required to activate the program. The program is accredited by the Ministry of Justice and includes a module on mediation and conciliation, which can lead to a certificate in civil and commercial mediation. The curriculum is designed to prepare odontoiatrics for roles as expert consultants in civil, penal, and disciplinary contexts, as well as in traumatology.
