About the Program

This is an accelerated online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program designed for experienced nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. It focuses on the scientific underpinnings of nursing, healthcare policy, and organizational management, allowing students to bypass the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. The program offers five specializations in advanced practice nursing.

Focus areas include Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Pediatric (Primary Care) Nurse Practitioner (PNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

The program comprises 74-77 credit hours, including 56 core credit hours and 18-21 concentration credit hours, depending on the chosen specialization.

Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in direct patient care, clinical and nonclinical teams, education, administration, policy, and executive positions.

No GMAT, GRE, or statistics are required. Applicants must be experienced nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
