This intensive Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for college graduates with bachelor's degrees in non-nursing fields who seek to become registered nurses. It builds on prior academic and professional experience, offering rigorous training and clinical rotations at Mass General Hospital. The program focuses on preparing students for licensure through hands-on experiences in a high-paced clinical environment.

Graduates become licensed professional registered nurses prepared to provide direct care to diverse populations in acute, long-term, and community settings.

Admission requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited US institution and preferred cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Specific prerequisite courses (e.g., Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Statistics) must be completed with a minimum C+ grade within the last 7 years. International applicants may need to submit TOEFL (min 89) or IELTS (min 6.5) scores. Required application materials include transcripts, reference letters, a personal statement, and a resume submitted via NursingCAS.

Onsite, full-time/part-time, 12 or 24 months duration. For international students, tuition is well above the median for US programmes.

MGH Institute of Health Professions is dedicated solely to education in the health professions. Its academic offering includes entry-level and post-professional programs and certificates of advanced study in Nursing, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Genetic Counseling, Health Sciences, Health Professions Education, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Physician Assistant Studies.
