This master's programme offers two distinct pathways: the Master of Arts in Music Therapy and the Master of Music Therapy and Counseling. Students engage in clinical training across medical, mental health, and community settings while developing advanced music therapy skills. The M.M.T.C. track integrates coursework in mental health counseling to meet Pennsylvania's requirements for Licensed Professional Counselor eligibility. The programme emphasizes applied learning through supervised internships and on-campus clinical practice.

Applicants must submit a graduate application and complete an audition and interview. The audition includes performance on a primary instrument, demonstration of piano and guitar skills, and a discussion of academic and professional goals. GRE scores are not required.

The programme totals about 60 credit hours. Face-to-face classes; evening and weekend courses available; part-time study possible; time to completion varies from 4 to 8 semesters.
