Bachelor in Mediazione, interpretariato e comunicazione interculturale

This three-year programme at IULM University includes a focus on a third language, selected from Arabic, Chinese, or Russian, designed to prepare students to operate effectively in multicultural contexts as global citizens. The curriculum includes 320 hours of workshop-based classes in small groups to develop skills in translation, mediation and interpreting. The teaching staff is largely composed of native-speaker instructors. The three specialisations are Interpreting and Translation Techniques, Emerging Languages and Intercultural Competencies, and Linguistic Mediation for Marketing and Business.

The curriculum includes a strong command of at least two foreign languages, along with a solid grounding in language mediation, in line with current technologies, digital tools, and emerging professional fields, and thorough preparation in communication and intercultural processes.
