You will focus on the module "M 1: Ästhetische Praxen und Jugendkulturen" throughout your Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme, supported by the Europa-Universität Flensburg's long history in teacher training.

This Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme is designed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and wish to become qualified teachers in community schools, focusing on the subject of Kunst. The programme combines theoretical and practical elements, with an emphasis on teaching methodology and educational theory. The curriculum includes modules such as "Bildung, Erziehung, Gesellschaft", "Forschendes Lernen in ästhetischen Feldern", and "Kunstpädagogisches Labor", which provide a solid foundation in educational theory and practice. You will also undertake a practical semester, giving you valuable hands-on experience in real classroom settings.

The programme is taught predominantly in German and takes 4 semesters (120 CP) to complete. Students have the flexibility to combine this subject with other subjects from the Sekundarstufe I or Sekundarstufe II categories, allowing for a tailored educational experience.
