About the Program

The MCQST Summer Bachelor's Programme at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München gives undergraduate students from around the world hands-on research experience in quantum science and technology. After an introductory week that includes a retreat in Bad Tölz, participants join one of the institute's research groups for a project-based placement. Research at MCQST spans quantum information theory, quantum simulations, quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum metrology and sensing, quantum matter, and interdisciplinary exploratory directions.
