Master in Mathematics for Business and Industry MSc

The MSc in Mathematics for Business and Industry at OTH Regensburg is a three-semester programme with a strong applied focus, designed for students who want to build on a Bachelor's in mathematics or a related subject and develop their skills in real-world problem-solving. The programme is taught entirely in English and combines advanced theoretical modules with practical exercises carried out in laboratory settings. Coverage includes advanced mathematical topics alongside modules in modern applications such as artificial intelligence, with particular attention to the actuarial and finance sector, industry, and information technology. The programme also incorporates computer science aspects. An optional internship of at least four months with companies in the region is available; completing one reduces the maximum time allocated to the Master's thesis from nine months to six.
