The Master of Aviation Management (AVIMA) at Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau is a four-semester programme combining technical and operational knowledge with broad management skills for careers across the aviation sector. The programme has been offered since 2007 and is available in both full-time and part-time formats. The curriculum is organised into three blocks: Business Administration and Management (covering HR management, financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, international marketing, international management, supply chain management, and international law); Aviation Management (covering civil aviation principles, aviation engineering and technologies, civil legal framework, air traffic management, safety and security, airline management, airport management, and aviation's social impacts); and Management and Social Skills (covering project management, leadership, negotiation, cross-cultural communication, and decision-making). Full-time students attend four two-week on-campus sessions per semester and have access to a German language course, additional courses, and excursions. Part-time students attend two two-week sessions per semester supported by an e-learning platform. The programme is designed for applicants with a degree in engineering or business and at least one year of professional experience.
