Master in LP ACA – Aquaculture Continentale Aquariologie

A student at the LP ACA – Aquaculture Continentale Aquariologie programme will spend a year at the IUT Nancy-Brabois - Campus Villers-lès-Nancy focusing on the management of aquatic ecosystems, continental aquaculture, and aquariology. Students can engage in a supervised project in the semester 5 and also undertake a final year internship. Students develop skills in maintaining and breeding aquatic organisms, adhering to ethical, deontological, and environmental responsibility principles, and autonomously conducting experimental procedures.

Students learn about the physical and chemical properties of water, ecology, pathogenicity, and animal well-being in captivity, as well as the creation and management of enterprises and the design and execution of experiments.

Students also learn about aquaculture, aquarium types, techniques, aquatic plants, and animals diversity.
