Bachelor in Licence - Sciences de la vie - biologie

The Licence - Sciences de la vie, biologie (Life Sciences — Biology) at Institut Catholique de Lille-Faculté de Gestion, Economie et Sciences in Lille, France is a three-year bachelor-level programme taught in French from September. Life sciences studies at this level introduce students to the core disciplines of biology: cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, and biochemistry. Laboratory work is an integral part of the curriculum, developing practical skills in experimental design, microscopy, biological analysis, and data interpretation. Students build a scientific understanding of living organisms at multiple scales, from molecular mechanisms to ecosystems. The programme provides the foundation required to continue to master's programmes in biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, ecology, or health sciences.
