Earth and Environmental Sciences — Licence Sciences de la Terre et environnement — is a three-year bachelor-level programme offered in French at the Université de Tours (37) in Tours, France. Earth and environmental sciences bring together geology, geochemistry, geophysics, and environmental science to study the composition, structure, and evolution of the Earth and its surface systems. Students examine rock and mineral formation, plate tectonics, erosion and sedimentation, soil science, hydrology, and the interactions between the geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.
