Geography and spatial planning — géographie et aménagement — study the relationships between human societies and their physical environments. Students examine physical geography, urban and rural dynamics, regional development, environmental management, and cartography, with practical training in geographic information systems and fieldwork. Territorial planning modules introduce the regulatory and policy frameworks that govern land use and development. Offered as a three-year bachelor Licence at the Université d'Amiens in Amiens, France, the programme is taught entirely in French. Annual tuition is 178 EUR and classes begin in September.
