About the Program

The international Master's programme in Geophysics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology is research-oriented and focuses on exploration and earthquake seismology as well as natural hazards, combining theoretical study with field experiments. Compulsory courses cover earthquake seismology, seismics, physics of seismic instruments, theory of seismic waves, and seismic modelling, inversion, and tomography.
