International Foundation Program

The International Foundation Program offered by South China University of Technology (SCUT) is designed to prepare international students to operate in a university setting by familiarizing them with the requirements for a successful 4 years as undergraduates. The program is designed for students who do not meet the minimum requirements for direct entry into SCUT’s undergraduate programs.

All courses are conducted in English by SCUT lecturers and experienced English-speaking lecturers. Students are guaranteed admission to English-taught undergraduate degree programs at SCUT if they successfully complete the program. Students can also apply for Chinese-taught degree programs if they meet the basic Chinese language requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate recognized by other higher institutions will be awarded.
