About Master in International and Comparative Law (Double Degree)

The University of Zurich offers a Master of Law (MLaw UZH) in International and Comparative Law. This is a double degree program. Students study law in two countries. They gain knowledge of foreign legal systems. They also deepen their understanding of international and comparative law. The program allows study in English and the partner faculty's language. This prepares students for international work environments. Participants earn two master's degrees after two years of study. These are the "Master of Law UZH" and the partner faculty's degree.

To apply, students need a Bachelor of Law (BLaw) or an equivalent degree from a Swiss university. A BLaw from a foreign university is also accepted, possibly with conditions. Applicants must show C1 level proficiency in German and English. A specific minimum grade point average is also required. Admission is limited, and places are restricted.
