Master in Global Foresight and Technology Management

Global Foresight and Technology Management is a three-semester master's programme at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, taught entirely in English. The curriculum is organised into five clusters: Foresight, Technology, Economics, Social Aspects, and Integrative. The Foresight Cluster addresses strategic foresight and trend analysis, including a project study on future life worlds. The Technology Cluster focuses on innovation management methods and the evaluation of innovation projects and technologies through case studies. The Economics Cluster covers future business modelling, business scenarios, and risk management. The Social Aspects Cluster examines transformation processes, change management, technology assessment, and business ethics. The Integrative Cluster brings these strands together through research methods, a scientific research seminar, and two compulsory elective subjects, culminating in a master's thesis in the third semester. The programme is available for intake in both the winter and summer semesters. The programme is designed for graduates with backgrounds in engineering, natural sciences, economics, sociology, or business administration who want to develop expertise in foresight methods and technology evaluation.
