About Master in Food Science Innovation (master)

Students with a keen interest in the FSI Chocolate Lab and food product innovation will build capabilities in sustainable food production, food safety, and product development informed by visits to industry partners such as Nestlé and Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

A key feature of the programme is the industry placement, which provides hands-on experience in real-world settings. This experience is further enriched by cross-disciplinary collaboration, as seen in the IPL Day 2025, where students gained insights into diverse professional roles and strengthened their teamwork and collaboration skills. The programme's design also includes field visits to factories, such as the Nestlé factory, where students explore ESG principles and sustainable food production practices.
