The External Programme is an intensive week-long course designed for highly qualified young civil servants and academics. Taking place in Port Vila, Vanuatu, from October 3 to 10, 2025, this program focuses on the pressing issues of international law, climate change, and climate justice. It is an excellent opportunity for students who are passionate about environmental law and its implications on small island states.

Participants will engage in a series of lectures led by esteemed professors from various international law institutions. Topics include the international regime for environmental protection, the challenges faced by small island states due to climate change, and investment arbitration related to climate issues.
