Students in this programme complete a structured set of core courses in environmental science, including ecology, chemistry, and geology. They design and pursue a five-course concentration in environmental science with faculty approval. The programme includes a senior seminar and recommends but does not require an environmental field camp. Students engage in research and fieldwork opportunities through departmental projects and field trips.

Focus areas include Environmental Hydrology, Global Biogeochemical Cycles, Wetland Ecology, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems, Environmental Politics and Decision-Making, Renewable Energy Systems.

The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science requires 14 four-credit courses, one one-credit course, and a recommended field course. Students must complete a five-course concentration in environmental science, including four science electives and one human environment elective.

Graduates enter roles in environmental consulting, natural resource management, environmental policy, and sustainability planning.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Required documents include official transcripts and standardized test scores. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for consideration.

The programme totals about 57 credit hours. On-campus, full-time, four-year programme. For international students, tuition is well above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 17% of applicants.
