The programme requires 33 credit hours of coursework, including general education courses, discipline-specific electives, and a capstone research project. Additional credits are required for certification tracks, including practicum, student teaching, and internship courses.

Graduates enter roles as certified teachers in public or private schools, special education settings, or early childhood education programs.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, though applicants with 2 or more years of related work experience may qualify with a 2.8 GPA. Two letters of recommendation are required.

The programme totals about 33 credit hours. Fully online, 7.5-week accelerated classes, 15 months to completion, 6 start terms per year. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 86% of applicants.
