This program prepares students to become confident and competent teachers by building a solid foundation of effective teaching methods and practices. Students learn to share their subject matter knowledge and make a difference in the lives of students and families in various educational settings. Graduates are prepared for careers as High School Teachers, Middle School Teachers, Kindergarten and Elementary School Teachers, Career and Technical Education Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Postsecondary Teachers, with most programs having a placement rate of at least 90 percent within six months of graduation.
