This program is a concentration within Communication Studies focusing on storytelling and stagecraft. Students gain practical experience through mainstage productions, acting, directing, costume design, and lighting. Opportunities include participation in the Kennedy Center American Theatre Festival and touring children's theatre.

The program requires 12 credit hours for the Communication Studies core and 24 or 36 credit hours for the Theatre Arts concentration, totaling 36 or 48 credit hours for the concentration.

Graduates may work as actors, models, entertainment costumers, announcers, on-air personalities, or salespeople.
