The programme combines conservatory-style training with a liberal arts education. Students develop performance, design, and production skills through hands-on practicums each semester. The curriculum emphasizes practical experience in acting, stage combat, physical theatre, and technical design. Focus areas include Performance, Design and Production, Theatre Specialization, Commedia dell'arte, Dialects, Physical Theatre.

The BFA Performance track requires 73 credit hours in theatre courses. The BFA Design and Production track requires 65 credit hours. The BFA Specialization track requires 60 credit hours. All tracks include required practicums each semester.

Graduates pursue careers in regional theatre, film, television, Broadway, cruise ship and theme park entertainment, and entry into Master of Fine Arts programs.

Prospective BFA students must attend an audition or interview event, typically held in the spring. The BA in Theatre Studies does not require an audition. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
