PhD in Dr. rer. pol.

The doctoral programme Dr. rer. pol. at Universität Witten/Herdecke, like all doctorates, requires completing a dissertation alongside 45 ECTS of coursework. The programme is designed for graduates from disciplines such as business administration, economics, political science, industrial engineering, and business informatics. It covers an extensive range of preparation and review, from finding a topic and supervisor through to a rigorous defence in front of an academic panel.

The Faculty of Economics and Society offers two departments, Management and Entrepreneurship and Philosophy, Politics and Economics who oversee the programme.
