PhD in Dottorato in Digital Transformation - XL Ciclo

This 3-year PhD programme is designed to promote research on the processes that facilitate or hinder the adoption of enabling technologies in various contexts and services, with the aim of promoting the common good, digital security, health, and well-being. The programme involves collaboration with Digital Transformation - White Paper Engineering SpA and the European Union's Digital Compass, with a focus on achieving a real digital transition by 2030. Students will develop high-level research and training pathways to become Digital Scientists, bridging the gap between academia and industry, and contributing to Italy's digital transition goals, as outlined in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The programme's curricula cover a wide range of fields, including Data Science, IoT, biomedicine, law, geoeconomics, intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital humanities, equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of digital transformation. The programme's multidisciplinary approach involves STEM fields, human capital, and legal, economic, and management sectors, with a focus on human-centered design and high-level scientific research. Students will be guided through the acquisition of knowledge and mastery of the main theories and operational prescriptions related to the adoption and implementation of technologies, as well as the tools for human-centered design and development.
