Master in Didattica dell'arte

Graduates of the Didattica dell'arte programme go on to teach in schools and museums, as well as work in cultural institutions and heritage management. The programme is a two-year master’s degree in educational theory, practice, and research in the field of Art History and Art Education, delivered on the Catania campus.

The programme aims to train students to become experts in teaching art to children and adults, and to develop original research in this field of study, from the earliest art forms to contemporary art. This includes those interested in developing didactic projects for museums, schools, and educational centres. The curriculum includes modules such as 'Didattica delle Arti Visive' and 'Storia dell'Arte Medievale' and 'Storia dell'Arte Moderna', and students must undertake a final thesis.
