Master in Design Management (MA)

The Design Management MA at SRH Distance Learning University is aimed at designers, managers, and those with a strong interest in design who wish to lead creative processes and teams. The programme covers the intersection of design and management, combining design thinking, research methods, and management practice. Students develop competencies in design processes and design thinking alongside business administration, communication, and scientific methods. The curriculum is structured over 2, 3, or 4 semesters depending on the variant chosen, and the programme can be taken on a self-paced basis with materials always available. The 90-ECTS variant spans three semesters and includes modules in general business administration, design management, leadership, design research and methods, design theory and concepts, marketing, decision making, design management strategy, design systems, change management, and a master's thesis. Two practice-based projects are integrated into the first two semesters. The programme can begin on the first day of any month. The degree is offered at SRH Distance Learning University in Riedlingen, Germany.
