PhD in Department of Engineering

Kochi University of Technology's Department of Engineering also offers a three-year doctoral course taught in English, based in Kochi, Japan, with admission each April and October. As with the university's other engineering doctoral admission route, the graduate school is organized as a single department of engineering rather than being split into narrow specialized fields, reflecting the university's intention to cultivate researchers with a broad perspective across engineering disciplines instead of fragmenting study into isolated subfields.
