The Dementia Care program at Canadore College is a non-degree course for students who want to help those with dementia live with dignity. This program is for 6 weeks and helps students gain knowledge about dementia care.

The curriculum includes six modules that cover dementia, comorbidities, challenging behaviors, and caregiver burnout. Students learn how to provide compassionate care in a safe environment.

Graduates can work as Caregivers, Healthcare Assistants, Personal Support Workers, or Nursing Assistants in hospitals, care homes, or community health organizations.
