This programme prepares students to become licensed professional counselors through coursework in counseling theories, clinical skills, and ethical practice. Students complete a 100-hour practicum and two 300-hour internships in settings such as psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics. The curriculum is structured to align with Pennsylvania’s licensure requirements and CACREP accreditation standards.

The programme requires 60 credits, distributed across coursework, a 100-hour practicum, and two 300-hour internships. All Year 1 and 2 courses must be completed before beginning the practicum in Year 3.

Graduates work as licensed professional counselors in settings such as behavioral health centers, hospitals, private practice, schools, and residential treatment facilities.
