This programme prepares students for roles in securing digital systems and networks. It focuses on protecting data, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to cyber threats. Students study secure software development, network defense, and risk management. The curriculum includes hands-on labs and real-world scenarios to build technical proficiency.

Students complete a modified set of core and elective courses within the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. The concentration requires additional credits in cybersecurity-specific topics beyond the general degree requirements.

Graduates enter roles such as cybersecurity analyst, systems security engineer, or network security specialist in technology firms, government agencies, or financial institutions.

Applicants must meet general college admission requirements. Priority is given to those applying for the BSCS program. A completed application and official transcripts are required. Admission is competitive and based on academic performance.

The programme totals about 120 credit hours. On-campus, full-time, four-year programme. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes.

Bellevue College offers a campus community shaped by the diversity of the students it serves. Academic planning is organized through eight BC Pathways: Business; Health Sciences; Humanities & Communication; Social Science, Public Service & Community Engagement; STEM; Technology and Data; Transitional Studies; and Visual & Performing Arts. Students begin with a broad field of interest, work with advisors to plan courses in sequence, and use course maps showing sample degree or certificate schedules. Programs include associate and bachelor’s degrees, professional certificates, and hands-on professional and technical study.

International students planning to study on an F-1 or J-1 visa apply through the international admissions route. After acceptance, new students activate a ctcLink account for registration, payments, and progress tracking, then create a NetID and BC email for Canvas, computer labs, forms, and other college systems. Placement is required for many classes, while orientation introduces advising and enrollment steps. Tutoring, counseling, career planning, financial aid, payment plans, and scholarships are available.
