Bachelor in Computer and Information Sciences (Bachelor's)

Troy University offers more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs for international students. Featured options include biomedical science, computer science, environmental science and MBA programs. Computer science includes eight majors, while visiting scholars join Troy faculty for research. The university's 1+2+1 program began with its first students in 2001 and connects selected Chinese universities with U.S. partner institutions. Participants complete study in China and the United States before receiving degrees from both institutions. The Troy campus provides on-campus housing, eight dining venues and a Trojan Center Food Court with American and international cuisine. Students can use the Trojan Fitness and Wellness Center, join intramural sports and participate in campus events. More than 150 student organizations cover academic, leadership, performing arts, religious, Greek-life and student-government interests. Arts opportunities include music, theatre, dance and fine arts, with the International Arts Center and Davis Theatre among the campus resources. Troy also has a 78,000-square-foot recreational facility and free shuttles around the campus and community. International students receive support through the Center for International Programs and Office of International Student Services. Services include help with immigration regulations and paperwork, pre-arrival orientation, free airport pickup and assistance with housing. Troy's English as a Second Language program prepares non-native English speakers for academic study and offers instruction in U.S. culture. The university also provides scholarship opportunities based on academic achievement, talent in performing arts, athletics and leadership.
