Introduction

Immaculata's 300-acre campus provides space for study, recreation, service, and student activities. Athletic facilities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, fitness center, strength training room, tennis courts, sports fields, and an esports arena. More than 30 organizations, including sororities and fraternities, give students opportunities to build friendships and develop leadership skills. Philadelphia is 40 minutes away, while New York City, Washington, D.C., and the New Jersey and Delaware beaches are two hours away.

Academic options include more than 60 undergraduate programs, accelerated and online programs, and more than 40 graduate offerings, including master's and doctoral degrees and certificates. Popular bachelor's fields include nursing, business management, exercise science, psychology, education, criminology, and biology. Graduate strengths include educational leadership, clinical psychology, counseling, nursing, and nutrition. More than 90 full-time professors support students through a 12:1 student-faculty ratio. Advising, learning support, and career services help students choose programs, manage coursework, build professional networks, and prepare for employment or further study.

Grounded in IHM tradition and charism since 1920, Immaculata connects scholarship with formation of the whole person, service, justice, and dialogue between faith and culture. Its Mighty Macs women's basketball teams won the first three national women's college basketball championships, in 1972, 1973, and 1974.
