Bachelor in B.Sc. Psycho­lo­gie

The University of Bielefeld’s Department of Psychology offers a Bachelor of Science in Psychology that is accredited by the Professional Association of German Psychologists (DGPs), ensuring it meets the qualifications required for further studies in psychotherapy, including the Master's programme in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy also available at the university.

The Bachelor program in Psychology at the University of Bielefeld is designed with the flexibility to be studied either as a major or a minor, offering a comprehensive curriculum that includes modules such as Bachelor’s programme in Psychology and the clinical psychology modules.

In addition, the programme prepares students for the Bachelor's Programme in Psychology which is recognized by the Psychotherapists Act and the Approval Ordinance for Psychotherapists and Psychotherapists. This allows students to qualify for a Master's degree in Psychology, which can lead to the Approval Examination required for professional practice.
