Cham, Germany Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

The BSc in Artificial Intelligence at Deggendorf Institute of Technology covers the knowledge and skills required to build AI systems. The programme begins with foundation topics including mathematics, programming, algorithms and data structures, operating systems, networks, and databases. From there it progresses to more complex AI subjects such as machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, big data, deep learning, autonomous robotics, and computational logic. The seven-semester programme starts in the winter semester and is delivered on the Deggendorf campus within the faculty of Computer Science. The curriculum is structured so that foundational subjects are covered in the first three semesters, with more advanced AI topics, project work, and elective specialisation modules introduced in semesters four through seven. A compulsory internship semester gives students the opportunity to apply their skills in a work environment. The programme concludes with a Bachelor's thesis in the final semester, completed in close collaboration with industrial partners. Students can tailor their degree by selecting elective modules aligned with their areas of interest in AI and its applications. The programme is offered at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology in Deggendorf, Germany.
