Lawrence Technological University began in 1932, when Henry and Edsel Ford helped launch the school by providing guidance and space in a former Model T assembly plant. Its approach connects theory and practice, taking abstract ideas into real-world problem solving. The university’s five colleges provide programs in architecture and design, arts and sciences, business and IT, engineering, and health sciences. Offerings include certificates, undergraduate and graduate degrees, integrated bachelor’s and master’s programs, and doctoral study.
