The Bachelor in Dance Artist at ArtEZ Institute for the Arts is a 4-year program that trains you to become a dance artist with a solid physical and theatrical basis. You will learn to define your own position in the dance field and develop your own artistic identity as a dance artist.

The curriculum includes a focus on developing your physical and theatrical skills, as well as nurturing your curiosity about other makers and your surroundings. You will have scope for collaborations and projects, and learn to work as a (co)creating dancer and maker. The program helps you develop your own unique style and voice as a dance artist.

After graduating, you can work independently as a dancer and maker for production houses and dance companies. Possible job titles include Professional Dancer, Choreographer, Dance Teacher, or Artistic Director. You can work in the Netherlands or abroad, and have a solid foundation for a successful career in the dance field.
