Master of Science in Professional Accountancy

This is a combined Bachelor of Science in Accounting and online Master of Science in Professional Accountancy (MS/PAccy) program. It offers an accelerated pathway for accounting majors to earn both degrees, beginning graduate coursework in their senior undergraduate year. The online Master of Science in Professional Accountancy requires 30 credits, with up to 12 credits potentially earned during the senior undergraduate year and the remainder completed in the summer following undergraduate degree conferral.

Graduates are prepared to join accounting firms.

Current Marist students can apply in their second semester sophomore year. Admission requires a declared Accounting major, a 3.00 cumulative GPA, and a 3.00 Accounting GPA. A GMAT may be required for applicants with a GPA below 3.00. The application deadline is April 1.

The programme totals about 30 credit hours. Online. The combined BS/MS program takes four years and four months. For international students, tuition is below the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 65% of applicants.
