About the Program

The Master's programme in Water Technology at SRH University Heidelberg focuses on the technological aspects of water generation and treatment, covering potable water generation from fresh and saline water sources, domestic and industrial wastewater treatment, and water as a zero-emission energy source. The curriculum also addresses sustainable water resources usage, climate change abatement, and aquatic ecosystem protection. Alongside technical content, students gain exposure to relevant laws, managerial skills, and intercultural competence. The programme is offered in three variants. Engineering graduates can enter directly and complete 90 credits over three semesters. Adding an optional integrated internship extends the programme to 120 credits over four semesters.
