Master's in Theoretical Philosophy

The MA in Theoretical Philosophy is a joint programme offered by the philosophy departments of Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the University of Dortmund. It covers the core subdisciplines of theoretical philosophy, including metaphysics, philosophical and scientific methodology, formal logic, philosophy of mind and consciousness, epistemology, and philosophy of language. Teaching is carried out in English by a group of instructors, each specialising in their respective fields across the two departments. The programme runs over 4 semesters, with intake in both winter and summer semesters. The programme is based in Bochum, Germany, at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
