The Master Lettres — Métiers de l'écriture, offered at Université de Corse Pasquale Paoli in Corte, follows this applied orientation, combining literary analysis with workshops and projects centered on the practice of writing itself. Coursework generally includes literary theory and history, alongside writing workshops covering genres such as fiction, journalism, editing, or scriptwriting, and often training in publishing processes, from manuscript preparation to working with editors. Students develop editorial judgment and technical writing skills, learning to revise and refine their own work as well as evaluate and edit the work of others.
