Master in Management

The second-cycle Master's program in Management at the University of Zielona Gora, taught in English over two years (four semesters), carries yearly tuition of 9,600 PLN. Graduates receive specialist theoretical and practical knowledge in management sciences and related fields concerning the nature, patterns, and problems of enterprise functioning, along with methods for solving these problems effectively and efficiently. The program builds the specialist knowledge needed for efficient management of enterprise resources and for forming sound judgments on management problems. Students develop skills in critical analysis, formulating judgments, interpreting and evaluating management phenomena and processes across different scales, assessing how the environment affects these phenomena, and preparing and making management and strategic decisions. Graduates are prepared to take part actively in economic and social life at both local and global levels. The program readies graduates for managerial and expert roles in the Polish and international economy, spanning manufacturing, commercial, and service enterprises as well as finance, banking, and insurance, and for work as consultants in economic or public organizations, or in running their own business activity. Graduates are also prepared to take on research challenges and to communicate effectively with their environment, with the program supporting continuation of studies at the third-cycle, or doctoral, level and ongoing lifelong learning. Based in Zielona Góra, in western Poland, the program offers an English-medium postgraduate management qualification grounded in both theoretical grounding and applied decision-making skills.
