Master in International Business Management

Poland Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

International Business Management at the University of Information Technology and Management is a master's program taught in English over two years, or four semesters, with annual tuition of 3500 EUR. Building on general economic knowledge, students examine various aspects of management within the context of international business activity, with the program developing a creative approach to problem solving in business. Topics covered include the company and its economic environment, managing company potential, analysis and evaluation of company performance, and both short-term and long-term strategic decision-making processes. Managerial Economics gives students tools for making managerial decisions under different market structures, while Strategic Management teaches students how to conduct strategic business analysis and reach strategic business decisions. The Controlling course provides an overview of accounting methods and techniques used in decision-making processes, which students later apply to solving company problems. Quality Management, or TQM, familiarizes students with the methods, techniques, and tools used to support quality management in businesses, so they can formulate and interpret the requirements of the TQM philosophy and identify examples of its successful application in practice. Company Value Management prepares students to design value-based management systems and to perform value-oriented business valuations and appraisals, while Supply Chain Management introduces different supply chain business models so students can apply appropriate cost accounting methods. Beyond these specific courses, master's programs in international business management typically prepare graduates for senior operational, analytical, and strategic roles within multinational companies, building on undergraduate business training with a sharper focus on decision-making, valuation, and supply chain management across international markets.
