Bachelor in Filología Hispánica

Filología Hispánica is the scholarly study of the Spanish language and the literatures produced in it, from medieval Castilian texts to contemporary writing across Spain and Latin America. Students examine phonology, morphology, syntax, and the history of the language alongside close reading of poetry, narrative, drama, and essay. The discipline trains careful analytical thinking and a high level of written and spoken expression, which opens career paths in secondary and higher education, editorial work, cultural institutions, translation, and language services.
