Master in Art and design

The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warszawa runs this master's degree in Art and Design, formally titled Graphic Design and Multimedia Art, as a full-time program taught in English over two years, or four semesters. Yearly tuition is 26000 PLN. The program is interdisciplinary, building knowledge and skills in visual communication design through classes and workshops led by artists, designers, and engineers from a range of nationalities and academic backgrounds. Design problems are framed beyond the local context, with the aim of showing students how a contemporary designer fits into broader global needs. Selected student projects are developed together with outside companies and institutions and, in some cases, carried through to implementation, giving students a chance to test their skills while still studying. The program centers on practicing and developing design and art skills using current software to produce visual work in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional environments; students work regularly with tools such as Unity, Blender, Maya, TouchDesigner, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Collaboration with partner institutes and cultural organizations supports work across visual, lighting, sound, and interactive formats. Graphic design and multimedia art as a discipline covers branding, motion graphics, interactive media, and digital art direction, and prepares graduates for roles such as art director, UX/UI designer, motion designer, and multimedia producer across advertising, entertainment, and technology sectors. The Warszawa location places students in Poland's largest media and design market, with access to design studios, agencies, and cultural institutions operating across print, digital, and interactive media industries throughout the region.
