About the Program

This three-semester Master's programme trains students to translate physical and theoretical knowledge into engineering solutions for applied research problems. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students address physical-technical challenges across fields including photonics, quantum technologies, micro- and nanotechnology, and hydrogen and energy storage technologies. Course content is developed in cooperation with research institutes and reflects research-intensive areas of applied science. The programme begins in the winter or summer semester and is taught at the Rüsselsheim campus. On successful completion, the degree is equivalent to a Master's degree obtained at a university and provides a basis for doctoral studies.
